    High:
    Toilet paper (Charmin)
    Laundry detergent (Tide)
Dresses (although I tend to buy tons of cheap ones too)
    Jeans (they fit better!)
    Hotels (I'm a snob)

    Low:
Shoes (I just can't bring myself to spend much)
    Most foods
Decorating items (I'd rather re finish them and what not)
    Makeup (maybelline, covergirl)
    Wine

On Jeeps: I'm about to buy my 4th one. I agree about the resale value. 6 months ago I bought my 2001 Grand Cherokee for $5800. The insurance just sent me the replacement check for it being totalled...$8650. Yeaaa I made out good!

    ETA: ....stuff

    High-
    Dog Food
Medicine (I only use name brand, it's a paranoia that they're different)
    Waxing (eyebrows, etc.)
    Some clothes
Electronics (b/c of FI, I wouldn't have any if it was just me)

    Low-
    Haircuts
    Shoes
    Some clothes
    Food
    Alcohol, especially wine

    High:
Cat food (cheap stuff barely uses any real meat and one cat is on a Rx diet)
    Electronics (APPLE!)
Makeup (not all, but foundation is important)
Beer/booze - cheap stuff tastes like butt
    Birth control

    Low:
    My groceries
    shoes
    clothes
    toiletries

I like sales and I LOVE consignment shops. I have found $200 suits for $8, Channel shoes for $6, etc. It is a crap shoot but it never hurts to look!

    High:
Soy milk and other milk substitutes only for this household ... I started drinking them as a teen and now I can't even stand the smell of regular milk. I'm lactose intolerant so there's that too, but I even hate the way Lactaid milk smells/tastes.
    Good coffee
    Pricey cosmetics
    Handbags
    Good quality meat and poultry

    Low:
    Most clothes and shoes
Most other foods (store brand or Aldi brand is fine!)
Decorating items, we're big antiques shoppers
    Shampoo/conditioner

If we had the money I think we'd both drive somewhat nicer/expensive cars. I know H wants an plug-in electric and I would probably want to get an Audi because I think they are super cool.
