We live in a small town so I had to drive a few more miles to a different station. They had gas so I started pumping. It stopped me at $8.00 and everyone else's stopped too. The gas station ran out. Are you effing kidding me? Two gas stations ran out of gas within 10 minutes of each other and of course they were the two I had picked.</div>

I don't think I have ever seen a gas station run out before. I didn't realize it was a common occurrence. I typically get gas when I grocery shop. We get points that give us a discount on gas so I just do it then.

I'm real late for a morning thread. Just saying hi. I was supposed to be computer free this weekend but it sucks me in all the freaking time. 

I really want to deep clean the house, relax on my patio with a book (I read Divergent but have been really hesistant to purchase Insurgent) and grocery shop for the week. Something tells me I'll get one of the above done.

Well, I was on my way to a meeting so I just drove to the meeting and then drove back. I ended up stopping to get gas on base because I assume they CAN'T run out. <div>

Gas by us topped out at $4.05 back in April. Since then it's dropped a bit to like $3.80 or $3.70.

A FB friend of mine just posted a picture of a dead chipmunk with the caption "rip dale" Between this and all the drunk pictures in my feed I am thisclose to deleting FB. Seriously. And I swear half my friends are selling stuff. No I will not buy your diet pills, body wraps, Tupperware, jewelry or fecking ugly ass purses. Ugh I am ranty today.

Oh- if you guys have smartphones, I totally recommend teh "Gas Buddy" app if you don't have it yet. Users report gas prices, so you can quick check how much gas is everywhere. (It also shows how long ago the price was updated so you know if it's accurate.) I go past probably 50 gas stations to/from work, so it's awesome to figure out where to stop.

AATB- I feel you on facebook. Everyone is selling stuff. People I haven't talked to since high school would invite me to their 31 parties or whatever. I finally spent the day deleting over half my list. It's so much better now.

whatever, aatb. I posted a picture of a dead squirrel on fb once. But it was frozen in the ice on the sidewalk. It was actually kind of fascinating.

I've heard of that Steph. I had a coworker that had it and I would have him check gas prices for me when I was low and needed to fill up on my way home.

Hike gas probably was out because of Beryl. People always fill up before tropical storms and hurricanes especially for generators. We can't even get out the driveway right now so I don't know what our stations are like.

That dead squirrel is probably the exception Steph lol. ND has a gas prices website which is pretty cool. Lists all the lowest and highest prices by city.

We like to keep it cutting edge and klassy in NJ. LOL.

I'm going out for lunch with SFIL in a little while because MIL wants some mother-son time with H.  I like SFIL but I've never spent any one-on-one time with him, so this could be awkward.  I'd rather stay in our room and read.

Oh yeah steph thanks for the atk app rec. My phone has a way longer battery life now. I wish gas was 3.15 here!
