It does prove an excellent point.  There is no way this will pass, but hopefully will open the floor for conversation and make people realize the REAL issues of what they are constantly trying to do in regards to women's reproductive rights.

My favorite line: “There are too many problems in the state. Why are you under the skirts of women? I’m sure there are other places to be."

I get that, but I feel like so many government officials are wasting time on stupid crap, instead of dealing with real issues.

<div>I agree.  A lot of time seems to get wasted on the smaller issues vs the ones that really are a priority.  At the same time, if it brings to light the issues with what they are doing with women's repro rights, I am not against it.  If it ultimately makes them realize that they SHOULD stay away from my ladyland then that's a good thing IMO. </div>

OK, good, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was like <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-surprised.gif" border="0" alt="Surprised" title="Surprised" /> the whole episode. It was like 45 minutes of an after-school special with 10 minutes of singing and 5 minutes of drama.
