Realistic Robots

Sorry, you're probably going to have to watch a commercial before the video, but I thought this was kind of interesting.

It's a video of a VERY realistic "woman" robot. Even the way she blinks and moves her eyebrows looks very human. You can tell it's a robot, well, because I just told you but they are getting really close to making robots appear human.

Kind of awesome yet kind of scary?

uumm, I could only watch a few seconds of that because it creeped me out so bad. Maybe it was just the way they were demonstrating her mouth, lol.

Edit: I've seen another one before, not this one. It is even creepier than the one I saw that was designed as a sexbot

I'm not sure. I guess because it's very difficult to have anything mechanical mimic the fluidity of human movement. So to be able to do so would be a huge accomplishment, scientifically.

It's definitely strange but also fascinating to me.
