Any's sig was from last week's FFF. I can't remember who made it though.

I have no trolls or AEs, or MUD. I'm a boring knottie. But I am quite fond of CCF. I wish she lived closer so we could be friends IRL. I guess for now I'm stuck with texting.

ETA--I must say though, I'm fairly certain I could pull off an AE quite well. I'm a good liar and coming up with characters is kind of what I do for part of my living. One of these days, I just might bust out an awesome AE.

Really? Then if this is the case I am pretty surprised at Any for perpetuating a sense of "board war" that most posters have stopped caring about (on both sides) and that you weren't a part of. But, maybe I am wrong?

You missed something.  I am pretty sure its because she is a multi-board poster and doesnt like the drama since she really wasnt here for the majority of it.  She wants to stay neutral, which I can understand.  No sense in torches being passed for fights that newer people dont really have a dog in.

She can probably explain it better, but it's from last week's FFF. She spoke on my behalf in my absence (accurately, thank you) but maintained her cross-board love, so they replaced her FI with Switzerland. :)

My confessions:

1) I'm starting to really loathe going over to my month board because of all the insanity the past three weeks over there. I don't think I've posted over there in a really long time. I feel most at home here.

2) I have a secret crush on emilyinchile. I'm not sure if it's because we look kind of alike and I'm just being narcissistic, but I've always liked her (looks and personality). Plus, her wedding was amazing and I adore her pro pics, especially the ones of her dress. Long live the bangs!!

My only TK confession is that when I first started lurking on the int'l boards I thought that people reacted to typical posts (my BMs aren't doing enough/I refuse to have any kids at my reception and want to write it on the invite/my parents won't pay/I can't afford cash bar/etc) much too strongly and typically I found them to be mean (and this made me lurk for a long time).  

Now, having been here over a year, I can understand why regs react they do. I find that I have to actually try to sound nice and explain why they can't do it/have to do it/etc...rather than just write: get over yourself.

I will also confess that even though I have been here a year I STILL don't care if someone calls it a wedding when it should be a vow renewal. I kinda understand why they want their 'moment' and I don't care, even if I don't know that they were already married, it wouldn't bother me. 

Edited for a spelling error that made my point very difficult to understand...sigh.

JMHO, but I got the sense that she doesn't get the full connotation of the Switzerland thing, and they know that, and they gave it to her anyway. I think the fact that boardwar vibes even came up as a result of SBers posting in FFF is really lame at this point anyway.
