I'm with you there, but I mean in terms of ugliness factor.  There's nothing worse for new people than that drive on the turnpike coming from the airport. Blegh. It's so industrial and gross, plus it smells. The only good part of that drive is the skyline.

I've answered these before but I'll play along again!

When is/was the wedding?  10/22/10

How did you meet your guy?  We met at a club. He was at a private party for an artist and my friends and I snuck into the VIP area. I actually approached him and we spent the rest of the night talking. A month later we were practically living together.

How did he propose? I was taking a photography class and had to finish up an assignment so he suggested we go to the Brooklyn Bridge. I was taking forever and he came up to me with a look on his face like he was super annoyed that I was taking so long. I was bracing myself, thinking he was going to give me crap but instead he dropped down on one knee!

Why are you lurking on SB? I've posted here occasionally and once or twice I've answered these lurker posts. I like the vibe here and you ladies keep me constantly entertained throughout the day!

Favorite posters? M&M, Nebb, Betrothed, AATB, and OWN  to name a few. I really find most of you funny and entertaining.

Least favorite posters? MissCourtney. She seems nice but something about her drives me crazy (and then there's the whole knotting while teaching thing)

Posters who scare the effin be-jeebus out of you? I don't scare that easily...

When is/was the wedding? April 2011. 4 months to go. WOW.

How did you meet your guy? There was a bone marrow registry / draw at our university.  We sat next to each other. The nurses were asking us individually lots of private questions and we smiled and smirked at each other when I heard him say he didn't have any STDs, and vice versa.  I kept looking over at his during my interrogation and mouth swabbing, and thought that he was the cutest / funniest and wittiest guy I've seen in awhile. After I was done, I walked out, he ran after me, asked me to go for a coffee, and the rest was history.  I actually hate coffee, but he ordered me one, and I chocked it down since I said yes to the coffee in the first place. lol 

How did he propose? It was perfect. Just a random morning of me getting ready for work. I was in the shower, thinking life with my boyfriend is swell, and he came in with a ring and said he couldn't wait to do it any longer. So yes, I was naked, freezing and looked like a drowned rat when I got engaged.

Why are you lurking on SB? I have exams next week. Major procrastination.

Favorite posters? I'm horrible at names. Like really bad.  So far emily seems nice, the woman with the pregnancy fruit ticker, and the girl that told me to stick around  - she looks like a sweetheart - Mary? 

Least favorite posters? Snippy wins by default because I've only seen nice, funny, lovely people on here, and she was the exception this afternoon. This might change though. Maybe she's having a bad day. Also, I'm missing something, but why do people call her Amro? 

Posters who scare the effin be-jeebus out of you? None...yet

...What flavor latte should I go get?  I'm thirsty and cold. Go with green tea.

How did he propose? He proposed with a treasure hunt all over the beach during a week-long camping trip to the Oregon Coast.
