NO! I was thinking to myself, I wonder who is typing a morning thread at the same time?

• Now I don't know which one to post in. This one has more so here I am.

Busy morning. I think I've pulled every huge site sales sent this week so it's taking forever to get them done and still meet my daily goal.

I woke up this morning to Whisky biting my hair and sitting on my face because he wanted breakfast. I guess this means he's feeling better, haha.
• My mom's cat, Falki, shoves her head in between you and the bowl so 90% of the time, she ends up with food dumped on her head. She's not very bright.

We leave Sunday, bright and early. I'm already sad I won't see H for a week but I'm going to help him work the next few days so we get to hang out more. And this sounds awful, but I'm kind of glad my brother wasn't able to go. I love him to death but he's a very dominating presence while I'm the opposite. I'm looking forward to being able to hang with my mom and grandparents, just us.
• See DJ AATB likes you best, she picked your thread! ;)

Morning ladies! I'm so tired of animals and I want my life back. Or H to come home. 2 more days, 2 more days...this is my mantra!

Glad Whiskey is feeling better Sesh. And hope you have a great trip, I know it sucks being away from H for weeks at a time. He's Orlando this week home a week, then in WI the next.

• Oh and when I finally get the dog to sleep in a bit, Tobie wakes me up! He's supposed to be on my side!

I felt bad for my son, he found a kitten with a broken leg by the side of the road the other night. He called his aunt upset about what to do, so he took him home with him and the next morning took him to the vet. My mom called to check, he had a broken back they had to put him down. He was so cute.

• Aw, KD, poor little kitten.

jcb, definitely looking forward to Saturday. Sunday, not so much since it's like 8 hours of driving. I'm going to bring my DVD player for sure.
• Huh that's weird, it took me refreshing the main SB page 6 or 7 times before this thread appeared. Oh well.

I hope mr. jcb's day gets better.

Am I the only freak who loves road trips? I even go so far as to make custom playlists/CDs to listen to while I'm on the road, and I like to look up quirky little places to stop at to eat meals. When I was in HS, my family and I would road trip it from Seattle to San Diego about twice a year. It even got to the point where I knew which rest stops were the cleanest.

• Morning. I am not having a good day so far. FI thinks I have some damage to my ACL ( I thought I just tweaked it Saturday but it has progressively gotten worse and this morning it went out on me for a second while I was walking). I don't know if I should call my PCP or try to contact a specialist. I don't want to get ahead of myself if that isn't what this is, but at the same time, I also don't want to pay $100 for my PCP to tell me to go somewhere else. With my deductible not being met, I have to pay for the visit out of pocket. I also forgot my purse at home this morning.

FI's cousin is getting married this weekend. The family has to be there at 430 for pictures and then the ceremony starts at 6 (FI is an usher). FI needs to leave at 715 because of a football obligation. If you were his cousin, would you be pissed?

You are not the only one who loves road trips. I read to the old man as he drives. Or we jam out.

• Mehg- I like some road trips. We make a three hour drive about once a month to the IL's and it's nice to relax. We usually chat for most of it. I did drive from PA to AR by myself (20 hours) and that sucked balls.

Well he sent a text to his aunt last night to let her know and her response was "The wedding is at 6 so.......... see you then".

It just sounded weird.

• Brandi, don't you usually need a recommendation to see a specialist? I'd see my primary first. And as long as he's not leaving in the middle of the ceremony, I wouldn't be pissed if I was the cousin.

Mehg, road trips are boring as hell to me. I hate sitting still that long and get antsy. We don't take the time to plan out fun stops though. We always just tried to get where we were going as quickly as possible and just stopped at fast food places and whatnot.

But, I'm looking forward to napping during the trip.

• Good morning all!
I may have made a mistake, I actually stayed awake on the bus this morning instead of dozing. I hope I'm not tired all day. And, that is the most exciting thing in my life right now.
This Saturday, H is going to brew beer. He was thinking that since they brewed at Paul's house last time, he'd offer our house this time. I hope that Paul says that he'd rather do it at his house. I'd love to have some time to myself. BIL should be working, so I'd actually have the house to MYSELF! What a lovely dream...

Just an usher. They also asked him last minute so it's just a space filler, we think.

• H and I want to one day take a road trip with no time limit. Just us and the road, stopping wherever we want, when we want, taking little detours to see random places or attractions.

There are places I'd like to stop and see, but it would add too much time. So, I'll just curl up in the backseat and ask if we're there yet.

Morning all!

We're planning a road trip over Fourth of July week. We're planning on going to Denver to see H's family. I am NOT looking forward to the trip. It's 9 hours on a normal trip. I'm going to have to stop every 90 minutes or so because I'm pregnant, so it's going to be more like 11 hours. Ugh. I do get to go to Colorado, though, which I LOVE.

Not doing anything today except laundry and watching chick flicks. Right now is Legally Blonde. Next is Easy A. Yay!
Kd, that's sad about the kitty. How did your son take the news? Sesh, that's me, too. Antsy as hell. When we go to see his parents, we generally will take one of the dogs with us and I'll ride in the backseat with the dog and watch DVD's. And trust me, there are no cool places to stop between Kansas City and Quincy, IL or St. Louis, for that matter.
Posted by jcbsjr
He was upset, but I think he saw it coming. He just didnt want it left out in the middle of nowhere for some animal to eat.

My son, always finding kittens, this is how I got Tobie! I'm glad he was healthy.

This would be my thought. And most arent technically part of the WP, and arent required to dress as such.

I would think pictures with ushers in them would be minimal at best. He'll be there do his job and leave.

• Good morning...

Meeting up with FI this morning since he has a doctors appointment. I told him I'd do his paperwork for him. Hopefully, I'll be home by 12:30 and go back to bed. I've got work tonight at 7pm and tomorrow too. Then, I'll be off for 7 days! I cannot wait!

FI and I are considering going to Boston with my little sister. She wants to check out Northeastern and his aunt lives there. We could leave Friday night and get home Sunday morning and then see our dads for father's day.

I guess I should think about making plans for the dog...oops. Why do I always forget I have a dog??

Text tone sucks to read. My mom always thinks I'm mad at her based on my texts because I don't add a smiley face or exclamation point.

Twitter tone sucks too. I'm still trying to decide if this chick in my author's chat last night was just answering people like a normal person or if she was being a stuck-up, "I'm better than you" heifer.

I had my little cousins be ushers. Because come on, 12 year olds in suits. They were adorable. But normally, no. I can find my seat myself, thank you.

• We had his two young male cousins be ushers and two young female cousins be attendants. They're stupid titles, but they wanted to get all dressed up and be involved so we asked them. The girls couldn't be more excited to go to the salon and get their hair curled. It's kind of cute.
