Evening thread and a Thank You

Thanks to all of you for the advice in the morning thread for me to call that principal.  I called her during lunch (no answer so I left a VM).  She called me back while I was tutoring and let me know she's conducting interviews the week after school and will be giving me a call to set one up!! Yay! I'm so excited, I'd love this teaching job!!  Thanks to those of you for giving me the nudge to give her a call

I'm just munching on some dinner and watching HIMYM. 
What's everyone else up to?

Chels- I didn't see the morning thread but good luck! That's awesome! I'm watching my big fat gypsy American wedding and about to have ice cream. I also found out that Georgia's preschool program is state funded. I didn't know states did that. It's awesome.

That's good news Chels! I'm enjoying some fresh air after 3 hours of callback auditions. Oy, we have some tough decisions to make. This is simultaneously my most and least favorite part of the process.

Evening.  I'm just sitting here watching RHONJ.  The drama is ridiculous. 

I am starving from not eating all day, but I'm being lazy and not wanting to cook.

I'm trying to stay awake long enough to watch Glee and/or go to bed at a reasonable hour and not right now, which is probably even a bit early for senior citizens. I don't know what's up, I don't feel sick or anything, I just feel like I've been hit with a tranquilizer dart or something. I have to pee, but I can't get up. This could be a problem. I have about 10 minutes before I reach the point where I either have to pee my pants or try to convince myself that I don't have a bladder.

I'm just finishing up eating dinner-- BF cooked food and gave me half to bring home with me, so it required minimal effort, so that was awesome.  I'm still trying to figure out what to do with all my free time.  I want to watch TV but there's nothing on that I want to watch, really.

I posted over in E's evening thread, but I'm pretty much being a lazy bum tonight.  My butt is gonna be parked in front of the televison tonight.  The Glee season finale (I know...I'm a dork) is tonight, and half the cast is graduating.  I cried just watching the previews, so I know I'm gonna be a mess tonight.  This is one of the only shows I have watched since the beginning.  It''s gonna be bittersweet because this is the last show for a lot of the cast members.

I got off work a bit early today, so I'm sitting here trying not to fall asleep. These past few weeks have been kicking my butt big time, and today started off pretty stressful.

I thought I had tomorrow off, but the MA who covers our out-of-town clinic can't work tomorrow, so I'm working for her. I don't mind the hours, or the drive, but it would be nice to know more than one day in advance. :P

Things are going well with him.  It's weird getting into a routine after school is done, because we see each other more during the school year, so we're figuring that out.  <div>

All four of those kids are gonna need years of therapy. I haven't seen the latest episode yet, but Gia's poem to her uncle Joey last season kinda broke my heart.

texasgurly - don't feel bad, I got misty-eyed watching the ads for the Glee finale as well.

Ash - I've gone back and forth with this season as well. At the beginning of this season, I was so hoping they'd find a way to get rid of Quinn and Mercedes because they were just so unlikeable and to be frank, uninteresting.

<div>This season was "meh."  They had a couple of good episodes but some of them just left me going WTF?  My favorite episode of this season was actually last week when they went to Nationals.  It had a lot of the same qualities as the episodes from the first season.  </div>

I keep feeling like its Sunday since I didn't work much today. I guess that's good since this week will feel like it's going by faster.

Thanks, Hike.  I don't want to jinx it, but I think I might have the best grades since I was in high school this semester-- which, considering my totally fucked up year, is really exciting.

I like the actress who plays Quinn, but her character grates on my nerves.  And the whole Rachel and Finn being engaged thing pisses me off.

I'm so mad.  We keep making plans and I keep missing RHONJ because I forget to DVR it. I can't find it OnDemand, either. I hate Gia--she's a spoiled brat. Actually, Teresa's whole family is effed. My favorite moment of all time was when Joe fell and broke his tooth, lol.

My friend who just got married tagged herself in all of the pics I took of her wedding and ive been getting like 80 thousand comments all evening of people through her commenting on them, I dont know who any of them are. Im glad they all like the pics I took, but I could do without the notifications lol

I've never understood why people tag themselves in their own pics. It's an irrational irritation of mine.

She's totally delusional.  From what she says, she seems like she's trying to convince herself that she has this perfect family life. Remember when she said her kids were so well0behaved and they showed that clip of them destroying the grocery store?

I get so irritated when I comment on a post or picture and then FB automatically sends notifications to my damn phone every time someone else comments on it.  I always intend to change it but forget about it 5 seconds later.

Oh definitely. But at this point it will take an act of God to keep the school open.  I'm considering myself unemployed (at least in the teacher sense) as of June 7th.

Nebb, you can set your pics to be viewable to only friends, that way only friends can comment on them.  You might even be able to set it to anyone can see, but only friends can comment? not sure though.
