Sorry- had to go pick up H at the car place.

It seems people have been on Nebb a lot lately, but you know what?  Nebb starts some really interesting threads.  Some of the only ones.  And yeah I know, "your defending your friend" but whatever.  You guys pull the same stuff with me saying "you always say the board is dead".  Yeah?  Well I start good threads too.

You all defended Duds, but what does she contribute other than a snide comment here and there or starting a morning thread.  She may have started that Diddy thread, but she only posted in it once, the OP.  That thread only took off because a few of us debated in it.

Ricks may not post a lot, but she does come in from time to time with a good discussion.

Take this thread.  The usualy suspects have already come in and rather than actually contributing something interesting, they would rather poke a troll.  THAT is why the place sucks lately.

I have an idea for a thread I'll start tomorrow earlier in the day so that it doesn't die by 5.

I WILL DO MY PART TO CONTRIBUTE.

And also, I flame chels/brandi because they got on my nerves, not because it was the party line.  The question asked who had irritated me lately, and brandi was the genuine answer.  I'm not going to make something else up just because others are finding that particular person irritating.

I respect that.  A lot of people said that yesterday and what I took from that is that I need to re-evaluate the way I approach/say things.  Yes, some of the things I've said are flame worthy.  I accept that and I own it.  But some things I just didn't articulate even remotely how I meant them, so people think I'm a giant dumbass. That is what I get for not really thinking things through. But also for that, I think it makes me afraid to really post anything that could be debateable because I don't want to "slip up" and get just murdered for it. Que a lunch thread.

(Also to brandi that was not supposed to be a flame at you. 90% of the food you talk about sound really good and my comment was out of jealousy as I had a cup of soup for lunch)

I've only noticed Nebb getting called out in the last week or so and I think it is because she bitches so often about how this board sucks.  We get it. 

As for the board going soft, I should have been ripped a new one yesterday for my headupmyass comments in the B&N thread but wasn't, so yeah, I agree.
