Hell, even when I'm training for a race (and I'm by far not an Olympian) I hardly ever party. I think in the 12 weeks that I trained for my half marathon, I think I drank maybe three times, and that was because it was the holidays. The hangovers are just so much worse, and then I don't want to run when I'm hungover, so it just throws me way out of whack. I can't imagine how hard it is to recover from partying when you're an Olympian.

btw, I like saying the word "Olympian". It just rolls off the tongue nicely.

I was kind of disappointed to hear about the Olympic orgy too.  The information doesn't surprise me - but I'm with Nates.  It's kind of disappointing that they flaunt this kind of thing while they're representing their countries.

I was just saying to N last night that it's a damn shame that swimming makes the men's bodies ah-mazing, but the women just look flatchested with manly shoulders. That might be their suits, though.

Yeah lots of the women athletes don't have much in the way of boobage.  At least with the gymnasts they're so young still so maybe they have hope?  Lol but I don't know.  I wouldn't mind a gymnast's or swimmer's ass and legs, but I'll definitely pass on the man chest.

I think Phelps and Lochte are both smokin hot.  rawrrrrrrr.  Come to the beach with meeeeeeeeee.  I might need help getting out of those rip tides, hehe.

I think Phelps is decent, but I agree that Schmidt isn't very attractive.  They spend so much time together training that I wouldn't be surprised if they were together.

I had a feeling they were. NBC showed a segment yesterday trying to make it out like they were all brotherly/sisterly love and all that, but I totally sensed something else going on. I didn't know if it was just me who felt that way though. Plus, he's kinda skeezy like that.

Is it weird that I find it extremely hot when I see the Olympic rings tattooed on a guy (like Lochte has it on his bicep). Call me shallow, but that's a definite turn-on.

I think it's just something with their shapes. I know plenty of smaller chested women IRL who are feminine and beautiful, but not Schmitt and co.

I don't think Phelps/Lochte are hot face-wise, but daaaaaaaaamn those bodies.

Good morning everyone.  I'm a wet-headed, itchy eyed, sneezy mess this morning.  Didn't realize when H told me yesterday to pack up the stuff I needed from the bathroom before he started repairing the ceiling that he meant EVERYTHING I'd need from the bathroom.  So I left my allergy meds in the cabinet, hair dryer under the sink and now I can't get to either.  This is what my bathroom currently looks like.

lbarr - I'm right there with you on getting inspired. I've always wanted those sculpted lines down the outside of their quads that the gymnasts have. I don't even know there's a term for it, but damn I want those defined lines. I love my butt, though, I don't want it to change.

We have to let the beams dry for a day or two, treat them so they don't mildew, let that dry and then we can start on drywall and re-insulating.  Good thing we have no company coming for a while.
