I've been working on 3 different semesters at once for the past week and I'm about to lose it.  I don't even know what month it is half the time anymore.

I was addicted to those too! Okay, anyone remember Tales from the Crypt? They weren't all that scary but, I would always watch it and then run and jump on my bed because I didn't want the monsters to grab my legs!! hahaha

I liked Christopher Pike.  It's September and I'm ready for Christmas.  Lines from "A Christmas Carol" have been floating through my head all week.

Mariah, Congrats on the next step for your house! I loved the babysitter's club books, I think when I was little I even wanted to change my name to Stacy. I drove all the way from Lewisville to pick up Sprinkles cupcakes for my boss' birthday.  I did not feel bad at all for not getting enough for her lazy team who did not offer to contribute or even bother to help decorate her door for her birthday.  Sucks for them cause it was so good!

Now I want a cupcake. I loved all the books you guys mentioned!  I've always been a big reader.  I read all the Babysitters Club book, the SVH books, (and the Sweet Valley Twins ones that were for younger kids too) THe RL Steins, Christopher Pike, Lois Duncan, all those!  My mom still has a lot of my old books in her classroom library.  Do you remember The Best Christmas Pageant Ever?  It was one of my favorite kid books!  I'm having auditions for the play version at school next week.  I'm so excited!  It will be super cute.

I'm putting this way back here for a reason, but I found out today that my dad and step mom are getting a divorce. It's really a really sad situation and is always worse with young kids involved. My little brother is 10.

Rene,I'm so sorry!  I know things have been very stressful with your father's side of the family.  I really hope that you are still able to see your little brother.  Hugs.

Thanks ladies. Julie, it may actually work out to where I can see him more. I'm excited about that. He may be coming to spend the night (I don't look at it as babysitting. I'll just be happy to see him). DH is even excited. He only met him at my wedding which is sad. Little man called me last weekend and the first thing he said to me was "how's Mo?" and asked if ge would want to come to one of his games. It was so sweet. I almost cried lol

Rene,That is so great!  I thought it might work out a little better but I wasn't sure if your step-mom would keep you guys from seeing him while they are going through the divorce.

I think my step mom is more interested in going out partying, so I'll probably have the oportunity to see him when he's with her.. a lot.
