Weekend checks! What did you do?

Received my hair piece that I ordered from eBay! Woot
Got the contract from the hall, filled mailed and deposit paid!
Cupcake tasting today! Booked and paid half down.. We're going with white and chocolate cupcakes with both flavors having chocolate or raspberry fillings! Yummmm
Also met with a possible photographer!!!

Feels good to finally have a few things actually accomplished

Our photographer sent us the disc with our engagement photos, so I designed our save the dates and am now just waiting to get the guest list from my fiancé and my parents -- his parents and I have already compiled our lists.

I also picked three different invitations that I'm going to show to my mom so she can help me make a decision about which one to use.

Tomorrow is my day off, so I might try to go to the post office and get postcard stamps so that I don't forget. I'd hate to have a bunch of addressed save the dates and no stamps to send them :x.

Doing well on mine so far. This weekend was mostly life maintenance, very little wedding planning. I am attempting to get everything I possibly can planned out before May, because once the car show season starts I will have no free time. Good to hear of so much progress! Anyone else eagerly anticipating October?

I worked on my bouquet (hoorah!) and even made one of the boutonneires for the guys (only 5 left). I'm waiting on pieces from eBay, so I can't do my BM bouquets or the GM bouts until those get here. My small mirrors came in too, and so I got the pieces I think I need to make my mirror boxes. For about $6 I think I can create a mirror box to put a vase on - although I'm not sure yet on how to secure the mirrors together.

Beyond that, had car maintenance done (oil change, tires rotated, new brakes), and some chores around the apt.

Wow, everyone is doing really well!

Once again - we did nothing wedding related. We were thinking of registering at a second store on Saturday, but it just didn't happen. My sister also had a baby last week, so life has been focused around that lately. (She's adorable!)

This week is my first dress fitting. It's super early, but I'm excited! We've also been meaning to do wedding bands - maybe that will happen next weekend as well.

Very productive wedding weekend!

FINALLY picked out my bridesmaid dresses:






Then my mom surprised me with the old flower girl dress that I wore when I was four at my cousin's wedding, she still had it.  She actually made it herself.  While it's a little old fashion, I love the embroidered lace.  It fits my flower girl so we are going to clean it and maybe update it a little by maybe taking down that high neck, but I just love that it's a dress my mom made for me when I was a flower girl and now it'll be in my wedding too :-)

I found my florist.  And I'm very excited - as she is well UNDER my budget for flowers.

I was searching for wedding florist.  I got laughed out of one florist due to my "cheap" budget.  However, we found a few possibilities!  Hoping to sign a contract soon!  Next working on invitations and the ceremony.

We didn't do much this weekend.  I contacted  ceremony musicians and the contract is in the works.  Besides working all weekend, that was about it.
