100% Yes with RSVPs...so far

Granted, the invites went out a week ago and I have 26 of 119 (online rsvp).  It's still exciting to see many 'yes' responses, though most were expected as they are bridal party members.

I can already tell I am going to be irritated by my parents, sister, FILs and FSILs at not thinking they have to RSVP because I *obviously* know they're coming.  Let's hope they prove me wrong!

For those at their deadline, what has your overall acceptance rate been?  80%?

We're 10 days away from our dealine. We have a response rate of 50%, and from those an acceptance rate of 86%. We've received about 3 RSVPs a day since they've gone out, so I'm hoping the rest will start flooding in now that we're getting close!

I had all my RSVP's sent to my parents house since the FI and I are moving to another state the week before the wedding. But so far I'm guess we'll have about 80% acceptace rate because the ones that we don't have I'm pretty sure I can guess what their responses will be. My due date isn't until Saturday so we still have a little time before we start hounding people, because I AM NOT leaving anything to chance... if you didn't confirm your seat and you show up, well you'll just have to stand!

A lot of our RSVPs were way past the deadline (July 1) and unfortunately people are still changing their minds, even though we've already paid our caterer. We have an 80% acceptance rate!

My RSVP date was June 27th. 23% acceptance rate for me. We had sent out 92 invites. Yeah. Oh well. I wish I had known that 9 months ago when I started planning. It would have saved me a lot more money.

Oh no!  that is a very high rate for "no's."  Do you know why so many are unable to attend?

We invited 120 (ish) I should probably know exactly how many.. anyway, that many, I have gotten 3 no's and 46 people have RSVP'd... I feel like it should be going faster though... even though my deadline isn't for a month (getting married at the END of August) its frustrating. I got nothing on Friday, Saturday or yesterday... THAT is annoying.

We have about half of our responses back and so far, we have about an 85 percent acceptance rate. It is funny because most of our responses have been from friends and friends of the family, and most family members have not yet RSVP'd.

Yep. It was destination (we moved from East Coast to the West Coast). We chose to have it here on the West Coast, because this is where we decided to start our new lives. We wanted to share a new way of living with our families. Most of them weren't really interested.  We even gave detailed information about hotels and rates (10 months in advance!) and the best times to buy, and even offered incentives such as our paying for an activity or two of their choice when they came. They weren't interested.

I'm more disturbed that my fiance has exactly one family member coming.

People priorities are different. And the people we grew up with are not interested in anything outside their bubble.

We invited 130 people and got more NO's than we anticipated so we were able to offer some plus one's to friends that didn't originally have one.

So far we have 106 confirmed.  My grandmother is being difficult because she is angry that the calligrapher spelled her name with a K instead of a C by accident.

    Our deadline was June 30th.

We sent our invites out two weeks ago. Our invites were only for our wedding reception which will take place on Sept. 15th., therefore, our RSVP deadline is actually when we come back from our wedding/honeymoon (August 8th). Great to hear that your RSVPs are going well. I am not going to estimate until after our deadline has past.

We have 68% acceptance rate. That doesn't include some people involved in the wedding who we assume are coming, but haven't returned their RSVP yet. Almost everyone is coming from out of town so we knew we'd get a lot of declines.

So far our acceptance is at about 50%, which isn't bad for a Wednesday wedding! We still need that last third of guests to let us know what's up but I'm hoping we stay close to 100- the nearly 175 that we invited was a lot!

We're at 77% yes out of the 60% of guests who have responded.

We've had about 60% respond and 70% of those are attending.  Although that 70% may be a bit inflated because we did have several people add 2 (plus) children to their responses.

Our RSVP date was July 6th.  I  have been trying to track down the remainder But I have an 82% response rate with only a 59% acceptance rate.  We have a lot of family that lives out of state that for one reason or another isn't able to make the cross country trip to be at the wedding and we have some religious barriers to over come as well and those folks aren't coming either.

We're at 73% of the 30% of guests who have responded. Some surprise 'yes's, a few surprise 'no's too. Ah well.

We have a 70% acceptance rate from the 60% who have responded so far.  I'm not sure it's indicative of anything, because a lot of the acceptances are people who we knew would be coming, and a lot of the declines are people we knew would not likely be able to make it.  We're still waiting on around 75 guests, and those are mostly the truly unknowns.  I'm guessing about a 60% acceptance rate for them, so we'd be looking at another 50 guests, which would be perfect.

As far as RSVPs from siblings, parents, FILs, grandparents - if you KNOW they're coming, then I wouldn't stress about whether they mail in the RSVP or not.  My grandparents haven't, and FI's sisters and Mom and Dad haven't, but I know they're all coming so I just don't care.
