Hi ladies- I met with a cake "woman" to discuss my design. I wanted something fairly intricate with ruffles and flowers etc etc. Anyway. I found a photo of this cake. I like its look but the layer that is darker pink i would do a much lighter blush. Also, it would have a few fresh flowers on top. The bottom layer would be 3 ruffle layers instead of the draping.
My mom said its too wild and crazy and isnt a "wedding cake" that i should get a traditional 3 tier, white an just put some lace or ribbon on it with fresh flowers.
What do you think ? is it too "non-wedding"
