Preserving the cake's top layer

I've seen this discussion in many places - how to preserve a cake top layer for your first anniversary - I've been doing a bit of testing and have come up with a pretty good process that seems to keep the cake a LOT better than some other preservation methods!  Wish I'd known this 14 years ago!  Our cake was bad!  Anyway, if you quickly freeze your cake, it does withstand vacuum packaging quite well.

LOL! :-)  I'm not a vendor... yep, we have a company but I'm just the social media person.  And I will tell you - I can't count the hours I've been working with freezing cakes and seeing how they hold up in vacuum bags.  It actually works really well.

Are you trying to sell something?  yes.  that makes you a vendor by TK"s definition and you are not allowed to advertise here.

No ma'am, I'm not selling anything.  I've simply been doing a lot of research and testing on freezing cakes and want to share my findings.  Like I said, I'm just the social media person and not into sales stuff.  I just try to find and share useful information with folks.  If I need to remove the link to the preservation process, I will do so.
