Any Brides having ceremony on beach?

Hi Ladies,I was wondering if anyone was having their ceremony on the beach?  I originally was going to do it on the deck but I'm having second thoughts.  I'm trying to figure out how to amplify sound so everyone can hear us over the waves...any suggestions?

    depending on what dj you book with, they can provide sound off of battery pack - ours is but were doing it on a deck too.

    I'm getting married at the beach too...well Yorktown Beach. I'm using the grass area though by the Freight Shed called the "Performance area". I would defininitely talk to your DJ about the sound issue.

    Make sure you check with the city because some DJs will say they'll set it up but some cities don't allow electronic equipment on the beaches.
