Reception Site Ideas - Destination Wedding Reception after we get back

Hi!  I am looking for some ideas for a reception hall/area for our reception.  My fiance and I are getting married in May 10 in Mexico and want to have a party in June, after we get back, for all the people that we couldn't invite to Mexico or could not come.  Any ideas that is not too expensive??  We want it to be nice, but not a full blown reception.  Our families live in the Toledo area, and also the Metro Detroit area.  So either area would be nice or some where in the middle!!

Try Cambridge hall.  It is on Alexis Rd. so your MI guests could jump off the e-way and it would be a straight shot from there.

Maume Bay State Park/Resort

Both TYC and Maumee Bay are great locations.

There are a lot of yacht clubs, this site lists them all over Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair so you could find Ohio and MIchigan clubs

Also, check the Mudhens site, they might have a room the rent out for events like this.  The Columbus Clippers do.
