Ideas for nonexpensive hall for second reception in Toledo

Hi Ladies! A couple years ago I was engaged and broke it off 9 months before the wedding because he turned into a abusive alcoholic and moved out to Colorado. Now almost 3 years later I am back because I am getting married to the best guy ever on May 14th in Colorado. Most of my family and friends live in Toledo and surrounding areas so we are planning on doing a second informal reception in August for everyone who couldn't make it out. Everything has changed so much that I don't know any good places so if you could please recommand places I would be grateful. We are thinking about bringing in our own food and stuff just need the space for probably 100-125 people. Thanks and goodluck with the wedding planning!

I would look into the Ward Pavillion at Wildwood Metropark.  They allow you to bring your own food.  I think this space would accomodate that many people, but it may be a little tight if you plan on having an area for dancing.  One nice this about this building it that it has multiple sets of double doors that open to a patio next to the hall so you can have some tables set up outside if the weather is nice.

We also considered the Monclova Community Center.  They allow you to bring your own food.  It's an older building with tons of character inside and out.

I third Ward Pavillion, that is what immediately came to mind when I read your post.

Colleen-  Nice to hear about Monclova Community Center.  That is where we are having RD.  We chose the old town hall in Monclova, but after we reserved it we were told it was being torn down.  They gave us a room at the community center for the same price (which I guess is a deal).  I've never seen it, but your message reassures me it will be nice.

I really think I remember you & your story!   Congrats on finding Mr. Right! :)     I agree that the Ward Pavilion would be a great option!     It's a beautiful spot, just the right size and you can bring in your own food/drinks!

    Good luck! :)

J&J Studio and Gallery, I had my reception there and it was wonderful!  You can bring your own food, drink, and decor, plus you get the beauty of art!
