I'm still debating when to send wedding invites out...I don't want to send them too early, but I'm thinking now to send them out a week sooner than planned....

If you did not send STDs, is this a factor as to why you're sending your invites out sooner??:Probably wouldn't have made a difference in when i send them out. If you send invites out to early, you are more likely to run into needing to call people for RSVP's (slips there mind)

Did you send STDs - Yes, and I'm finding out they're useless because people are only booking their hotel rooms after I tell them that the hotel books to full capacity and it's half full.

Date invites go in the mail - May 25th, a little early. Our RSVP date is early because of the 4th of july. We wanted to allow more time to track people down if they don't respond. I can imagine alot of people would be on vacation.

RSVP date - I think it's June 29th.

With all the follow up we are doing on bridal shower invites right now for RSVP I am glad I have a month from RSVP to wedding to hunt people down. This is ridiculous!

We made our RSVP date earlier than I originally thought because I wanted more time to work on hotel bags, place cards, seating charts, etc. I figured people will most likely respond by whatever date you give them

We were afraid of spending several hundred dollars and mailing them out around Christmas and then having them get lost in the shuffle. Everyone that is invited already knows they are invited and when the wedding is.

Date invites go in the mail: Mid-may (maybe one weekend earlier for the OOT guests.  we know they're less likely to attend and that way could possibly hear back and invite more friends without them knowing they were on the "B" list)
