Getting in Shape

Hello - an introduction

Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am getting married in October of 2010. I am in relatively good shape and I like to run road races (marathon, half marathon, 5K) and lift weights, and ski.  But I have a sweet tooth and little to no willpower when it comes to my diet.  I really like burritos and other heavy southwestern food, and chocolate, and ice cream, and it always seems so much easier to go through the drive through than to eat healthy. 
 
I know I could be in the best shape ever if I consistenly worked out and also ate well.  I would like to make a new lifestyle for myself, not just for the wedding but for good (I'm in my last year of my 20's, yikes!).  So I am going to aim to do that by eating clean (small portions, every 2 - 3 hours, healthy food and not fast food or processed food) and upping my workout schedule so that I'm consistently working out 6 times a week.  Ideally I would do cardio for 40 minutes or more 4 times a week, and strength training for half an hour or more 3 times a week. 

That's my plan and I am happy to have found like-minded brides-to-be here.  Reading your posts are inspiring to me!  Good luck everyone.
