Morning All!
Yoga was pretty half-hearted yesterday because I lost the DVD, but I did what I could. I'm going into the office late so I can take my car in for an estimate, so I'll get to do both workouts this morning, which is really nice. Today is cardio, and legs/back/abs. I can't believe I'm almost at the end of phase two already-this program is flying by!
Healthy eating has been on track, minus a few extra cheerios when I got gnoshy last night. I'm hoping to pick up some salmon on my way back from work today, too; I really need to get more fish back in my weekly routine.
How is everyone doing today?
Re: Workout Accountability: Wednesday
yesterday was a good day-food was on target and did a spin class, I really pushed the resistance so I feel it today. back tonight for more spin.
happy day all!
Yesterday was a good eating day. I ended up with a lot of exercise which was good, so I got a lot to eat I guess. I went to the gym and had a good weight and bike workout. Then, I was sick of the mess at home so I spent an hour moving furniture around at home. I'm super tired today. I tried to go to bed early, but now that FI and I are living together I've been up late and was again last night. Then I had a crying fest over my new office at work and being the new person, even though it's the same job, just in a different office. So I got to bed really late. I feel foggy now. At least the bags under my eyes weren't bad. Hope you ladies have a great day!
Once upon a time, there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.
Fluffernut - Sorry you were upset. Is the new place not working out?
I've been really on track with my eating this week so I'm really happy with that. This morning I did 4 miles on the treadmill in 36:47. This is the first time ever in my life I have ran 4 miles and I didn't take any walking breaks!
On the plus side, I had my first facial on Monday night and it was lovely and my skin liked it!

The facial sounds amazing!! I would love to get one sometime.
We had a super healthy dinner, no starches last night. I decided to try that for a change, based on a co-workers recommendations. So we had BBQ pork loin (about 4-5 oz), BBQ corn on the cob (no butter or sauces) then I stir fried a few veggies so at least that wasn't so bland (had about 1 cup each of veggies). We were full, but not that yummy carb full
She DID decide to bake before we went up so I had a raisin tea biscuit, but they were small and low calorie, about 200 calories. So I got my yummy carb in anyway

August 2012 - Married!
Was low on cals yesterday so I'm going to up them a bit today which should be hard since we're going out for dinner tonight. I'm already feeling the hunger bug waving over me and I just finished breakfast. Aye!

Today is looking good though! Did insanity this morning and rock climbing is rescheduled for today so looking forward to that!
Hopefully that scale will move by next weigh in on Monday.
[QUOTE]Just back from our lunchbreak walk, 50 mins. Too hot, a little sunburned and allergies :( Damn hayfever...reminder for tomorrow...take Claritin non-drowsy for workouts at work

I have hayfever too...Zyrtec works for me but makes me drowsy so I will try the Claritin.
Maribeth--Congrats on running 4 miles without walking!
Sarah--You are training for a 10K? Me too!! What plan are you using?
My regular yoga teacher was out last night and her sub totally sucked (anyone else have that problem? I've decided its all about the instructor!!!) so class was just so-so...but I did go to Spin this morning with my fave instructor, so that made up for it!
My co-worker's last day is tomorrow so we had Mexican food for lunch! I had a veggie taco and some beans...didn't finish my meal but those tortilla chips always kill me!! LOL

I'm using one that I found online from Hal Higdon! <a href="http://www.halhigdon.com/training/51122/10K-Novice-Training-Program" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.halhigdon.com/training/51122/10K-Novice-Training-Program</a> (it's a link)
this is my first accountability check in and strangely I'm really excited about it lol.
Had a nice healthy food day and didn't come home starving which was nice, getting used to this healthy stuff. I didn't do my 30min walk on Tues (got home at 8:45pm and was BURNT OUT so I passed out) so FI took it upon himself to become my fitness conscience and we did a 1hr walk last night! We just moved into our new place so we walked around the neighborhood to checkout the restaurants and such around. At first when we left I told him there was no way in hell I was walking for an hour, but that rascally rabbit got me b/c when I called for a time check it had been 40mins already and we were 20mins from the house lol. I love him for that, he's been so supportive and encourages me everyday and at this early stage of the game it's such a great help :-)
