P.I.N.K. Method

Has anyone heard about PINK method on Dr. Phil or the Doctors? I am currently on day 6 of the diet which the beginning is very similar to atkins... lean protein, unlimited veggies, and a protein shake in the morning. OMG if I eat another vegetable I'm going to scream. Granted, I've lost 5 lbs in 6 days - but seriousely does it have to be THIS extreme?!?! Ugh!

  • I've never heard of it. What is the shake?
  • The shake is good! It's 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder, I use Jillian Michaels from Walmart. 1 cup of non-dairy milk (coconut, rice, hemp, or almond) and one cup frozen strawberries. I'm sure you could use Skim but the nutritionist says that dairy milk actually can strip your body of nutrients, and coconut/almond milk has 50% more calcium.

  • Dr. Phil is  a crazy.

    Losing 5 lbs in 6 days isn't healthy or sustainable.  Fruit is good for you.

  • The best way to lose weight...portion control and exercise.  There is no quick and healthy way to lose weight, especially if you want to keep it off for the rest of your life.  Losing weight takes time, you (not you, but in general) didn't put on the weight in only 2 weeks so it should be known that it will take more then 2 weeks to take it back off.

  • Isn't it dangerous to lose a pound a day like that?  I think you're better off eating a well proportioned, balanced diet everyday rather than an extremely deprived diet.
  • How is it working for you? 

    I've actually thought about trying this plan after seeing it on Dr. Phil too! 

    It's not just a diet a workout plan is included that starts at 20mins and progresses to 30mins then 40mins.
