This is all Jerry Jones fault.  I'm a life long Texan and it has never done this before.  He decides to bring the Super Bowl here and BOOM! we have this.  I didn't like him when he bought the Cowboys and I sure as heck don't like him now.

Besides weather (oh please don't banish me to an international board cause this has been brewing all week.)

Cowboy Cassanova? That has fidelity written ALLLLL over it. I'm wondering if you understand the literary history of the whole Casanova thing or if the title just sounds good. And honey, there's only one shade of black. Any other "shade of black" is gray. And please for the love all that is good and holy: capitalization, punctuation, spelling, paragraphs. They are your friend.

And I also flame my immune system. I woke up so sick this morning. Like no voice sick. And I can't skip out on working these parties the next two days. 12 hours today, 15 tomorrow. I am sad :(

I flame the snow... if I have 5 inches of snow on the ground in my front yard, I expect to be able to build a snowman.  All this powderiness is highly disappointing.

Also, I flame DH's best man.  He lives 3 hours away, and picked this Sunday to have his son baptised.  Between the weather and the Super Bowl, it couldn't be a less convenient time for us to travel.  And, he's been asking DH for WEEKS if we were coming, so we feel like we really have to if at all possible!  (Disclaimer:  I don't really care about the SuperBowl itself, more just the traffic and everything that goes along with it.  I'm not saying a football game is more important than a baptism, honest!)

My office did this too.  About half the company has remote access, and the rest aren't allowed or aren't set up.  We have an emergency website that has been updated every day this week, but this morning is still said "Open" from yesterday.  I'd decided to stay home, and logged on and saw an email saying the office was closed.  HELLO, if it's closed, post it on the website - not everyone has access to email from home!!  So frustrating!

    Amanda, glad I didn't disappoint.

Crash, she had another post talking about her theme and how she needs damask stuff in "two shades of black" and a LOT of other things I just couldn't interpret. It literally made my head spin.

Right. And even if she did like the song, all you have to do is listen to the lyrics to understand she's singing about a womanizer.

Missing 3 days of work is one thing, but missing Cirque de Soleil is another.

"Save money" and "open bar" do not belong together in the same sentence.

This is lame, but I flame myself for being completely disorganized right now. I am usually super organized, but for whatever reason, my wedding contracts are all over the place, and now I'm in a scramble to compile them & make a list of when the final payments are due.

Stephie, I was supposed to go to Cirque on Tuesday, and they cancelled the show and called the following day to reschedule us with any day they had available, and equal seats.  Not just same price tier, but almost exactly the same view, which is what I was concerned with.  Did they cancel your show, or are you just unable to make it?

Also, for all you stir-crazy ladies, here's some furbaby love - one reason I'm happy to be working from home today.  He refuses to leave my lap!

I have new tickets for next Friday, since they cancelled our show Tuesday.  Keep an eye on Dr Pepper Arena's website/facebook, that's how I knew, and then Cirque emailed me letting me know they'd call.  But, it was about 3pm before they called it off... so be careful about getting a hotel!
