Getting in Shape

What the HECK?!!

I'm very frustrated so I need to vent. I don't understand my scales constant wavering and its driving me insane. Let me backtrack..I got a trainer last year (Jan. '10) to lose weight for my wedding. I had the trainer until about June and lost 15 lbs. (still not my goal weight, but much better). By wedding time in Sept. '10 I had gained about 5 of that back, but was still ok with the weight. By Christmas, I was back to my original pre-trainer weight (really poor honeymoon and holiday eating).

This past January I got back on track and without a trainer (using a lot of what he taught me) am back down to my wedding weight. I still have about 7 more lbs to lose before a cruise in May, but I only seem to be slowly gaining, not losing! I dont understand. I know that water weight can fluctuate, but my scale will change within 2-3 lbs each day (in either direction). Is this normal?

Also, in case you were wondering, I work out between 4-6 days/week, cardio (treadmill intervals or spinning) and weights (often with my husband). My poor eating is my weakness but I have really been working on that. It still seems that even on days I eat well, the scale can go up 2 lbs and its frustrating. I've had such a small loss, I really dont want to gain any of it back.
