Tuesday Accountability

Oh man, that's nights workout was amazing.  I felt like jello afterwards for hours.  I really gave it my all.

B: Chocolate PB Banana shake, coffee w/ skim milk
S: apple and string cheese
L: homemade chicken caesar wrap
S: red pepper and hummus
D: BBQ'd burgers and corn

E: rest.  perhaps a walk at lunch to loosen up my legs a bit.

  • Morning all. Jimmy Buffett concert tonight, not so sure how I feel about that.

    B - strawberry Special K protein shake, multigrain waffle w/ 1/2 tbsp natural PB & 1/2 tsp SF jelly
    S - banana
    L - 3 slices shaved chicken breast on lavash wrap with FF Amer cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and 1 tsp grey poupon
    S - 1 c. watermelon
    D - cheeseburger w/ onion, FF Amer cheese, lettuce, tomato on sandwich thin w/ greent tea
    S - margarita at the concert

    E - either HIIT/5k run or elliptical w/ arm weights

  • Definitely in a better place today, FI going to the gym with me yesterday helped a bunch :D

    B- Kashi, Skim milk, Blueberries

    L- cheat day - Primo hoagie (half of a small hoagie.. gonna share with someone..)
                            Italian with oil and lettuce tomato onion, hot peppers.

    Dinner - 93% lean beef burger with cheese and whole wheat bun
                 cucumber salad
                

    Snacks - carrots and grapes and greek yogurt

    A walk/jog intervals in my development

    I drove around my development yesterday in all the courts I run in, and found out it's 4 miles in total. 

    It takes me about 60-75 minutes right now.  I would eventually like to be under that, in time.  How long does it take you?

    I just started doing 4, but it takes about an hour. I also do walk/jog intervals. Depending on how I feel, I start off with a mile or mile and a half of jogging, then walk for about .1 or .15 miles, then do a few half-mile jogging intervals. I jog at a 12 minute pace, but with the walking it slows my time to about 15 minute miles overall.

    I'm training for a 10k and my program eventually works me up to 8 miles at a time.

  • this past week was miserable for me.  after my trip to michigan i got totally out of whack on the healthy lifestyle... back at it today though.

    B: 100 cal whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter
    S: pita chips and roasted red pepper hummus, 100 cal granola bar
    L: leftover key west shrimp from tgi fridays and steamed broccoli
    D: leftover veggie stirfry with rice from a few days ago
    S: 100 cal popcorn?
