New September 7th Bride!

Its finally official!  I have been reading through posts here and feel so far behind!  I got enaged on New Years Eve and have gotten a lot accomplished but still so much to do!  We have a caterer (well not by choice, they are exclusive with the venue), photographer, DJ, and minister.  Still a lot to go but I think (hope) I am making good progress.  Its all so exciting and a little nerve-wracking!

I am a 9/7 bride as well and as much as I've got done, I still have a lot to finish! The big issue is our guest list, my FI keeps telling me to add more and more people. Then the details of the reception centerpieces that I still have to buy! My head spins just thinking about it. But it'll all be worth it soon!! Congrats!

A NYE engagement, how exciting!  (My FI was already in bed before the ball dropped).  Welcome to the Sept '13 board!  We're all very supportive here. 

It sounds like you've gotten a lot accomplished in just a month too.  You're about where everyone else is really.  Once the big things are checked off, the little details seem that much more attainable.

I wish mine would tell me to add more people! I just keep hearing "Why do you have to invite so and so". He has a very small family (20 of the 150 guests are his!) and I have a HUGE family. He just doesn't get it!

Welcome!  My FI has 40 of 180 on his side.  Everyone else is on mine.  I totally hear you on that one!  I keep telling him it's not my fault my family is so big.  Blame my grandparents ;-)

I'm the one asking him why we need these people ha! Some of them are people that I've never met or people he used to work with. But it's not okay for me to invite some of the girls that I used to work with. We were trying to set a limit to how many guests but I guess that's thrown out the window!
