Wedding favors: one per person, or couple

Dear Girls,

I decided to have potted plants as wedding favors do I have 1 per person, or couple.  They're a decent size, and not mini's at all.  I guess I just assumed it would be one per couple, but now I'm wondering if everyone should get one....
What about the kids? should they get mini potted plants?  Maybe they should get a gift baggie with things to do... My mother-in-law is still adding to the list and I'm panicking!!! Help girls!

Ok if its of substancial size I would think it would be fine to give one per couple. But remember to count your singles as one gift. For the kids a goody bag is a great idea, dollartree is your friend for little coloring books/ crayons, sweets, lil toys and such.

We are giving out lanterns w/battery candles & we are only giving it to one per couple or one for famil if they all live together like his grnadmother, aunt & cousin do. Also one for every single.

Yeah, one/couple or single sounds great. If a couple thinks that they need more than one potted plant, I'd call that greedy.
