What to put in gift bags for our OOT guests

I need ideas of what to put in gift bags for our out of town guests.  My fiance and I have "debated" over water bottles.  He thinks we should not have custom labels. He said guests will want a name brand water. Our wedding is in Atlanta.  I immediately thought of Georgia Peanuts!  He said no because our they will get peanuts on the plane ride down.

He thought of wine bottles from a winery we visited last weekend.  I think it would be too expensive and clumsy.  We are doing chocolates at the reception so we do not want to include more chocolate in the guest bags.

I NEED IDEAS!  Please provide your suggestions.

Thanks,

Melanie

I like the peanut idea - building off that and making a 'tribute' to the city, What about a small glass botlle of Classic Coke - ATL is the birthplace of Coca Cola?Maybe a fresh peach or two (since ya area Georgia Peach).  A couple Laughing Cow cheeses and a pack of Lance Crackers - just cuz it makes a good snack.

I'm going with local items that represent Charleston for mine - mini pecan pies, benne wafers, brochures from Visitor's Center, sunscreen, bottled water and a recipe card for shrimp & grits.

My daughter and her FI put more of a personal versus city spin into their OOT bags.  They filled it with snacks that represented their favorites....trail mix, pita chips, puppy chow, coffee (which could also be used in the room), margarita mix (a partial "theme" of the wedding), gumballs, and tootsie pops.  The coffee and margarita mixes were bought on line and personalized, ala "The Perfect Blend" and "The Perfect Mix".

A second addition was a packet they put together and labeled "The Hangover Helper".  Bottled water (not personalized) and 7-Up were included, as well as packets of Saltines, Tylenol, Tums, and Pepto Bismal.

I like the Hangover helper suggestion plus all of the other goodies.

    How about a peach-scented travel candle?  :)
