You should check out the Etiquette girls.  They will like you and they feel that your statement should be a new commandment.  Hey, guess what?  Everyone here came here to talk about their wedding.  It's a WEDDING website.  No one here has b&m'ed about people thinking their wedding isn't special enough.

and she didn't say that no one else cares about your wedding - she said no one cares AS MUCH as you 

EMT - the board isn't what it used to be - less than 10 new posts a day?  that was a Saturday back in our day!  now when you ask a wedding question, 99% of the time, they just refer you to the vendor sticky

Ummm, they're on to page 3 today so that's over 60 posts.  Some days are slower than others.  Some days people have less free time at work.  You only have 23 posts yourself so I would like to know when back in the day actually was.

Hi, who are you?  When was your day?  Sorry to not live up to "your day's" standards, but hey, we like our community just fine.  Most of us generally work M-F jobs so posting on the weekends isn't frequent - although I'm not sure really why that even warranted being said.  Good for you I guess?

I'm all over the boards and while I've heard the term "old married hag", the OMH thing I have only seen on the DFW TK board - wherever you guys are posting from obviously uses it too - so my apologies.

Actually, I thought I explained why.  A post lower on this board reminded me about how feelings seem to get hurt a lot during wedding planning because SOMETIMES people assume that their wedding should be as important to everyone else as it is to them.  That's all, nothing more, nothing less.  You may disagree, that's fine, but it sure seemed to bother people.

And I didn't realize my post count would say 1 when I posted that; it should say 4353745634. 

OMH has been around a long, long, long time - that's how I know it.

I've only ever used it here.  I have no idea if other boards use it.  I haven't posted on the knot/nest/bump in years.
