Salsa as a favor?

Okay everyone in my family loves my homemade salsa. For some of my fiance's family I have to tone down the heat, but I can always do that. Is using salsa as a favor for everyone a stupid idea??? I was thinking 1/3 HOT 1/3 Mild 1/3 not hot. Please be honest but not cruel. Small jars of it, that are decorated with bows and stuff.

Edible is always good.  You know a chunk of the guest list likes it.  If not everyone takes it, you won't mind being stuck with the leftovers.  I think you have a winner.

Edible favors are great!  I think I'd just make 1 type though so everyone gets the same.  Maybe a medium heat.

I would LOVE salsa as a favor.  It would be a little bit of a tease if there were no chips so I could eat right then and there, but otherwise great favor.

I like it! Good job on the creativity! My FI loves Salsa so it would be a winner w/me. I would do medium and mild. Most everyone that doesnt like hot can eat mild. I wish there was something I could make that guests would love. I cant think of anything besides the basics (cookies, etc)  and I wanted to something different since lots of people do those.

I like this idea. Though as PPs said, stick to medium or just mild.

I like the idea but because list the ingredients somewhere so people with food allergies know if it is safe for them to eat.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments ladies!! The food allergies thing is a good idea, I will list the ingredients. I am going to only make a medium heat one and at the reception I've already been told I have to have it there with some chips for people to eat it then!!
