Hi all!

I am in the process of meeting with a florist. What are some questions to ask aside from the obvious?

Also, what is the average cost for flowers? I know it depends on what you want & BP size, etc. but a price range in the middle?

Our flowers were

• $10 per corsage
• $5. per bout
• $15 for the flower girls' head wreath
• $40 for the BM's bouquets
• $75 for my bouquet

These prices are around average for my rural-ish area.  My cousin got married in Tolland, CT and paid about 3 times as much.

Ask what flowers they would subsitute if necessary.  Also, if they substitute in the same color scheme and price point.

Ask if they'll do a mock-up for you befor the wedding to make sure you like it.

Here's what I'm paying for my flowers:
Wrist corsages: $12
Pinned corsages: $10
BM bouquets (mini green hydrangeas, pink and white roses, and other filler flowers and greenery): $30
My bouquet (20 stems of peonies): $100

My florist is doing my flowers at cost though, so I'm getting a really good deal.

I had several consultations with a couple different florists in my area and the lowest quote I'd gotten was $1,905. That was a little steep for us though, so I looked into ordering bulk flowers online to arrange myself. Turns out that I can get MORE of the same exact flowers I wanted for only $408. Nice, huh?

 A couple of Knotties I know worked with this particular florist & said she is amazing to work with & very easy on the $!! Cannot wait to meet with her!
