Can't decide colors! Help

So, the hold up is flowers.... I am really  picky about shades matching, and it would drive me nuts if the flowers didn't match my BMs dresses. I was going to have my BMs carry white flowers with a little bit of the dress color in it. And I would be carrying the dress color with white sprinkled in. That was my original plan, with dark purple dresses... Now I am wondering if I should do navy, with sunflowers. Or a medium pink (lipstick sort of), possibly with the white and pink lillies or pink with orange white and greenish flowers. Help!! I don't know what to do! :( And I want a neutral opinion, or I would be asking my BMs. ;)

Start by thinking of your overall vision--don't focus on one specific detail.  For instance, in your centerpieces and decor, do you see navy and yellow, or purple, or pink?  When you think about taking formal pictures, what do you see your BMs looking like?  When you think about your location, what overall scheme do you think works best?

Another great idea is to Google the colors you are thinking of using, and looking at inspiration boards.  Also blogs like the Perfect Palette can be very helpful.

Personally, I love the navy with sunflowers for a summer wedding but that's just me.  :)  Pick the colors you love and go from there.

My BM dresses are dark purple. My main color is the dark purple- my accent color a very bold yellow.

For my flowers I am doing the main flower in yellow (unsure of type) with mini white carnations and dark purple filler flower.

I think Navy with sunflowers would look great (or any solid yellow flower for that matter).

I agree with stephiehall, pick what you love and build around that.

go to the hardware store and get paint chips in the colors you are thinking about. Get a large one that matches the dress color if you don't have a fabric swatch. then play around with different combos of colors. when you go to the florist take the paint chips you have chosen and let the florist suggest the the specific flowers.  Good luck

Thanks ladies!!! If you ask me today, I would go with the fuchsia dresses. I love the bright colors and there are more choices with flowers. I love the oranges, yellows, pinks, greens and whites together.! ;) Who knows what I will want tomorrow! Haha!

Because I could not ensure that the colors matched, I deliberately ensured that the colors were opposite..In my cases navy with orange and yellow flowers.

I have decided on the fuchsia! I even bought fuchsia shoes today and hopefully they will match the dresses close enough! (match the shoes to the dresses? Haha!)
migdemoto- This is exactly what I was thinking! I love the color combination! It will have less green and more fuchsia, orange, and white. I think the guys will be wearing orange ties! ;) Sooooo excited! :D

Here are my shoes in fuchsia : http://www.zappos.com/unlisted-file-complete
