    Sorry if someone mentioned this already, but as far as alterations/timing -- my wedding is in April, too, and I made my alterations appointment (with Becky) for mid-February. She said it would be ready by mid-March. She would've recommended I come in sooner if I'd planned to do bridal portraits, but I'm not.

    I haven't found shoes yet, either. I'm looking for a moderate heeled white shoe - all the ones I like have a monster heel, but I don't wear heels at all normally and I can just imagine me tripping. So far I've bookmarked a bunch on DSW.com, but haven't found any I love. I'll settle for a good deal on something I like, in the end. This thread gives me lots of new places to check!
