Carnations

Originally I thought the idea of using carnations for centerpieces was cheap/tacky.  But now I've seen some pictures in blogs/magazines of how they can look tightly bunched together.

Any thoughts on carnations for centerpieces? Has anyone done this or seen it done?

    I was originally thinking of doing this because they do look great bunched together.  TK and Google have tons of beautiful centerpiece pictures.

    All my wedding flowers will be Carnations. I love them they are so pretty when grouped together! and so cheap!!!
