Flowers

Flower colors?

I am planning a 25th anniversary vow renewal. It will be a small romantice event, but very much on a "wedding" bases.  Its set for the weekend before Thanksgiving next year, as that's when we got married first time!

I wanted to use the same colors (pink & raspberry) from the first time but everyone I talk to says I should do fall colors, orange, deep red, yellow & browns?
Each personal group of flowers will have a red (possibly white) rose to represent our son that passed away.  I do love gerbera daisies and they come in most of these colors?  I also thought of making the flowers sort of respresent my kids.  Daughters favorite colors are deep purple, son is orange?  I am wearing ivory, my daughter is wearing black and husband & son will wear black tuxes with ivory shirts, so really flower color will be important.  Any suggestion? Undecided

Thanks buzymomo3

Personally I think using the same colors would be meaningful and special.  I love the idea of a flower to represent your son.  If you stuck with the pinks, I would do a white flower.

You can use whatever colors you want, whatever time of year.  I LOVE pink and black weddings and never get tired of seeing them.  But with black dresses/tuxes, you can use almost any colorful flower, and even multi-colored bouquets will be lovely.  Any color will pop nicely against black.
