Cocktail hour music?

hi all - 

I just realized I hadn't thought about music during cocktail hour. I'm thinking maybe just hook up an iPod. Is anyone else doing this? If so, what kinds of music do you think you'll play?

I found this site... which has great suggestions for music through the whole reception. The section for cocktail hour music is at the end of the document and  doesn't have specific songs, only artists, but it is a great place to start.

we're using mostly ratpack and italian classics- -- our reception is very formal, and my family is italian, so we love all that kind of stuff =P

Why not hire a live jazz trio? It is wonderful to have live music at a wedding!
