Help with first dance song

in Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music Discussions
FI and I have been together for over 8 years (since we were 14 and 15) and we have been through so much together.  We are in a long distance relationship right now with him in law school and me in med school trying to plan a wedding, so I haven't had much spare time to listen to songs and pick the perfect one.  Anyone have any suggestions that might fit our  story? Thanks!

    im using "she's everything" by brad paisley.

    it was the first song we ever danced to. it says a lot about how a guy should feel about his girlfriend/fiancee/wife :)

    I've been with FI for 5 years in April of this year and about 3.5+ of those years were long distance because of school so I understand how stressful that can be! I am leaning towards Beyond the Sea (its at the end of Finding Nemo). I think it really fits our long distance coming to an end finally and its fun and upbeat.

    Maybe you have interest in something that is 'brand new'? Here's a song called "Always Love". it's reminiscent of The Beatles/Van Morrison, with a running time of 2 minutes 45seconds
