I think I've nailed down the dress, anyway.

After much discussion and debate, I think I've found the dream dress.  My only concern is.... well... it's black.  Even though my colors are black and gold (we did decide that finally, as well)... well, I've never seen ANYONE wear black at a wedding, ever.  I'm concerned that people might say it's bad luck, that's the tradition, after all.  

My first wedding was at the courthouse, so I don't know anything about "propriety", heh.  Would you think it's bad taste to wear a black wedding dress?

BTW:  it's not really a "gothic" wedding.  The setting is medieval, though (definitely the planned venue is - we're torn on two choices, but they're both similar).  This style of dress is really the only type that I like and think would look good on me, and it fits in with the "decor", so to speak...

Color wise, feel free to wear what you want! But I'm sorry if this is rude, but I have to say it.. that dress just reminds me of a Halloween costume, not anything wedding related. If you really really love it though, go for it! I just think it would work way better with a gothic themed wedding (like full on theme wedding).
