Sambuca??

Hey all!!

I am newly engaged and I'm starting my quest for reception venues.

I've never been but Sambuca Dallas seems to be a pretty swanky and cool place. The patio area looks pretty neat and I'm thinking there will be only 75 guests so that shouldn't be a problem.

My question is would YOU have your wedding reception there? I don't know if I can hack the fact that it would be a semi-private event b/c the other part of the restaurant will still be open to the public.

Opinions??

    If I thought I could have afforded it, then we probably would have.  We had one of our best dates there.

    i've been to a couple of private events on the patio and i've never noticed that there was anyone else was in the restaurant - unless i headed to the bathroom - lol - i love Sambuca as a venue!!

    labellagirl- Do you mind telling me a little about the patio area? I've never actually been and I'm living here in San Diego.

    How many people were at the event? And what time of year was it?

    I'm planning my wedding in May or June next year and I'm concerned that the ceiling fans may not be enough to beat the heat... but then again, it would be at night.

    What do you think?
