Urban Wedding Photo in NW suburbs chicago? Help!

Anyone has idea or has done wedding photos kind of urban look like railroad and bridges, alleys in NW suburbs? I saw a lot of post saying downtown arlington heights. Is there a specific areas anyone can suggest? Any photos? :) I am going to drive around some time this week to a find a place. Getting married this weekend! yay!

  • Just off Old Rand Road, just north of Route 22 (the library is on the corner) is a railroad line with a small, abandoned railroad station.  I have seen that used in photos before. 

    You should also consider looking at the "construction end" of home improvement stores.  Although not really "urban", you can get some unique shots in downtown Long Grove as they have lots of older buildings, bridges, and cobblestone streets.  Obviously, urban and suburbs are complete opposites, so to find what you are looking for, you almost have to look "inside" of storefronts, such as lighting stores, warehouses, indoor flea markets (there is one on Rand Road in Palatine), or design centers.
