[QUOTE]I am excited for the G2G as well! Except for the fact that I just spilled queso all over my hair and won't have time to go home and wash it. ICK! Oh and I'm pretty sure I will get lost on the way out there! Other than that I am super excited!

    Yum queso!!!

It's not hard to get there! Take 114/121 and exit William D Tate. Beware if you are coming from 121-the bridge backs up bad for the Mustang/William D Tate exit! Take the SERVICE ROAD!!!!!!  Or just exit at the Main Street exit, cross the bridge and make a left. Stay on the service road and pass Wells Fargo, an old empty dealership (I think it's used for storage now with construction), Macaroni Grill, Chilis, La Madaline, etc. You can actually enter from the service road (there should be a sign). If not, go to the light and make a right (you will see Verizon). There is a sign for U.J. there, and make another right. It used to be the old movie theater.

Hope this helps anyone who is a little confused how to get there.

That certainly helps more than my GPS will. I'm convinced the little lady that talks to me on that will guide me off a cliff one day.

I just received a confirmation email from Twogether in Texas that my FI and I are due at the Center for Hope tomorrow morning.

Less than 24 hours notice after ignoring my emails for a month? No thanks. We already picked up our marriage license last Friday.

ETA: Today is Thursday not Friday, so I guess it would be more than 24 hours notice...lol. Oh well. Can you tell I am ready for Friday???

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: AW Thursday! : Us too!  We signed up for the one in Houston though.  The deacon working with us said it was fine since we don't live in Dallas.  I have never known anyone to not make it through EE.  This will be the last thing to do for the pre-cana so FI is excited about checking that off the list.  After three months of NFP, he thought we were done!  After this... order the papal blessing.

The EE is the first thing we are doing. We still have to do the counseling next year.

I'm just getting caught up for today...

DFWIndian - Definitely relax about EE.  It was definitely not stressful for us.  People have varying experiences, but we actually found it to be boring because we'd already talked about all the issues we were supposed to discuss.  The only new thing I learned was that DH likes his friend's homemade cookies better than mine.  I thought the couples counseling was much more engaging - our couple was really nice and it was more of a social activity than a "have you thought about this?" activity.  Our couple wasn't strict about the discussion topics - they had a book that they used as a guide, but we didn't really have to fill anything out.  We might have done one quiz-like activity, but otherwise we just chatted about marriage and family life.

Julie - Have a great time at Disney World!  I'm jealous of your meal at the Contemporary!  We went once with DH's parents when we first started dating, but I had a cold, so my taste buds were shot and I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to.

Oh, and my AW... I ran my first 10K on Saturday and beat my target time by a few minutes.  (Mariah and Brandi ran the 20K that same morning, and I confess to looking up their times - they both rocked it!)  My time at the 5K mark was also about 4 minutes faster than my time at a 5K run last fall.

I am in the teens as far as days until the wedding.

Last night I checked my registry and a few of the bigger items on our list got purchased. These are the first things that someone has bought for us! I suspect though that it may have been my fmil but we won't know until they get here.

I would be high as a kite right now about these things but meh.
