BEACHES NEGRIL wedding Photography!!!!

I need help!! my fiance and i are getting married in BEACHES NEGRIL in JAMAICA. 

We were told that they have a resident photographer in their resort but they cant seem to provide us with samples of pictures!! I am freaking out about this because i dont want to just to trust them to do a good job. 

HAS ANYONE BEEN MARRIED AT THIS RESORT AND USED THEIR PHOTOGRAPHER??? I NEED HELP!!! =\

Is it all inclusive wedding package? will the resort even let other photographers work there? Ask them those questions because you might not even have a choice, in which case I would stop looking becaus falling in love with another photographer that you are not allowed to use per contract would be worse then having to just trust someone imo. Other then that try the desitination wedding board or google.

FYI, I was a destination bride (P*nta Cana DR) and for our resort at Melia, as long as our photographer was a guest in the hotel (we flew them in) there were no additional fees and they were allowed to be our photographer. What's stopping an friend or cousin or your uncle with a camera from taking pictures? Ask them what their policy is. Maybe in the end if saying soso is your cousin and she's a guest and staying at the hotel so your photography is covered. If that doesn't work, then you may have to go with their photographer. Best of luck!
