Websites with Flush Mounted Albums?

We opted out of having our photographer make a flush mounted album because he wanted 2000 for it. So, we have the rights to the photos, and we wanted to find a company online to do it for cheaper. I have searched around and found a few places that are much cheaper (around 500 or less) to make a similar album. However, I'm nervous about ordering online. Does anyone have any advice or websites they have used to make flush mounted albums? Thanks!

I used Somerset.  My review is in my married bio (I posted just a little ways down on this page).  Ours was $413 for 34 pages and it turned out great.

Thanks for the advice! I'll take a look into it. That is much more reasonable than what my photographer was quoting.

Ironically I JUST noticed this on my photogs website. Maybe he can get you a real album not a shutterfly album cheaper than your own photographer.

My photographer have used them and I will be getting my albums thru them.

My albums will 30 pages flush mount. I have a package going with my photographer but I'm sure he's not charging us $2,000 for it.

I have seen the actual album and its gorgeous. Great quality, photo quality and plenty of options.

Most of the companies mentioned above are pretty good options depending on what you're looking for.  Shutterfly is a real cheap alternative to the professional quality albums.  As an album designer myself, I think that its important to keep in mind that you usually get what you pay for.  Whether you are willing to cut down on the cost of custom design, or on the quality of the album, is totally up to you and what you are looking for.

About 90% of professional album companies only cater to photography professionals and not to the general public.

    I agree with Jimmy.

When I was married, my friend was my photographer so she just set me up with the photo files and I went about getting my own album done.  You get what you pay for. I should've known, since I'm in broadcast TV/web and that applies to my field of work.

In the end, I probably should've spent the extra $500 on a professionally designed and assembled album.  Funny, I'm not married anymore and dating a photographer - NOW I learn all about the technical details... would've came in handy back then.
