How many hours?

How many hours did you book your photographer for? I want to have pics taken before the ceremony, if that matters.
I'm booking my photographer next week and keep struggling with this. I have the more the better mentality.

    We booked for 10 hours. They were there pre-ceremony for the getting ready pics and all the way to the end of the reception.

    Our photographer books for 10Hrs.... We had a destination wedding and booked him for 3 days.

    We had our photographer booked for 8 hours.  It was plenty of time for pics to be taken while getting ready, pre-wedding, and everything else that goes on throughout the day.

    We booked ours for 9 hours and took pics getting ready, before the ceremony, during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
