Say Anything Wednesday

I had popcorn last night...Butter Kettle Corn.  I think I will either do butter or kettle corn next time.

It smelled like tuna when I came in the office this morning.

I am not your personal secretary.

The coworkers son I was speaking of yesterday posted on facebook they were getting married on November 13th...cue another freak out.  I need ear plugs...having the radio up is doing nothing.

Teen Mom was not online this morning and neither was Rescue Me so I have watched neither...boo.

The man that sits in the cube next to me is loud.  And not just any loud... UNNECESSARILY, RIDICULOUS, LOUD.  I seriously have to plug my ears when I'm on the phone.  And the sneezes, you should hear the sneezes.  Is it ABSOLUTELY needed to sneeze so loud?

This man is working my nerves.

The 40-something couple that we know through FI, as he does triathalons with the husband, told us they have a Jersey Shore party to go to this weekend. Wow. Just, wow.

There should be a speed minimum on highways. Driving too slow is just as dangerous as driving too fast. Go with the flow of traffic! Foot-- /> gas pedal, folks!

I don't understand why people get on a freeway/highway/tollway with their hazard lights on.  You are a hazard by going 35 on Bush.  You are going half the post speed limit.  Get off before you kill someone.

On the other hand, if I'm already going 80 and I'm in the center lane and you want to go faster and the left lane is open, GO AROUND ME!!!!

I want to go see a movie right now just so I can have popcorn.

I hate tuna, shortgirl, so I probably would have pitched a bit of a fit if I worked with you.  Or at least mention it every five minutes.

I am starting to have major butterflies ... and I don't know why.
We already are technically married ( since we had our JP ceremony last week) and the details and planning are nearly complete from what I can tell anyway... but I have been feeling nauseous all week...  blah....

I love the fact that Craigslist is free, but why do people who respond to your ads have to be so creepy??

I put in an ad about our Garage Sale this Saturday, and I have people emailing me asking to buy the items already (hello, please come to the Garage Sale).  The creepiest one is a guy who said "I like your ______, I'm coming Friday evening to get it."  Like not even a question of "can I come by Friday?"  It is totally creeping me out.  I

I am kind of freaking out about this semester.  I have decided to go back to school for something totally different than what I originally went for.  Long story short...I started grad school then stopped.  Now I have to go take some pre-reqs before I can get into the graduate program that I want.  But this is a science heavy degree and science makes me nervous!

Car broke down last night, so FI took me to work this morning.  I work in Downtown Dallas, I drive in from George Bush/Preston Area.  I have a strategy to driving in the rush hour traffic every morning... My FI does NOT... He drives like a grandma!  But it was super nice of him to take me to work :)

Maybe I'm naive, but I would like to think my family and friends have better things to do than sit on the knot all day and try and find my posts. I think most of my family and friends wouldn't have a clue what TK is, nor that there is a "community" where people post things. FI def. doesn't have a clue.

But like I said, maybe I'm naive.

But, I'll sit here in my naive-ness and be happy with it :)

ETA: But it would be nice to be able to post where nobody could find you every now and then, JUST in case :)

Well I know that certain people are savvy when it comes to searching on TK because I have told them that that is what I do and that I get help from lots of brides on here. Otherwise, I would be right there with you!

My mom just called, and she was rear ended.  Nothing bad, and the car just has some scuffs, BUT 2 years ago she was rear ended so badly on the freeway that it totaled her car and caused her severe neck pain.  She has had a few procedures and the pain is much better.  But she says that it is hurting her really badly after the accident this morning.

Dang it!  She has helped out SO much for our wedding, and I really wanted her to enjoy the day.  I don't want her to be in pain because some idiot couldn't figure out how to stop his car.  Hopefully she will rest and relax and it will get better in the next week.  :(

I work with a Dwight from The Office.  She is constantly sucking up to the boss, butts into everyone's business and tells the boss everything we do.  If I go to the bathroom more than twice in the morning she is back telling the boss that this is my 3rd, 4th, etc time.  I'm sorry I drank a lot of water and have a tiny bladder!  MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!  She is always calling my clients and making sure I'm doing my job correctly.  Isn't that the bosses job not yours?  You have your own clients to worry about and you are behind in your daily stuff so just sit and work!  OH YEAH and no one cares about your dope smokin, can't hold a job, loser boyfriend or the ghetto house you just rented and now feel unsafe.  People warned you!!!

I have 1 month (to the day) until the wedding.  I'm really quite sick of the planning, could definitely do without it.  I'm excited to see it all come together, though.

I had some ice cream last night.. Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate.  I love Blue Bell.  There's nothing else that compares.  I might even have to go so far as to say Cold Stone doesn't compare.  Mmm, now I want Cold Stone.

Those last few pounds I wanna shed---not going to happen by the looks of this post.

It's hot - I'm so tired of the heat.  Also, I'm tired of wedding people not emailing me back  - people I have already paid.  I emailed him - no response.  I emailed him to ask him if he got my email (days later, not in an annoying 1 hour later or anything), he responded.  I emailed him back, no response.  I emailed him to ask him if he got my email - he responded.  I emailed him back, no response (seriously!).

If you don't want your family to be able to find you - create an AE - alter ego.

I'm adding a new grammar pet peeve to my list, and I don't care if it's a bit more obscure than the standard pet peeves (like confusing there/their/they're).  If you use "regards" it's like "give my regards to so-and-so" or as a closing to a letter/email.  "In regards..." or "with regards..." is not correct.  If it's too confusing to remember when it has an s or not, just start using "regarding."

I just realized that football season is almost here again, and I'm SO freaking excited.

I'm on the hunt to tickets to TCU's first game that don't cost a fortune.  It's at the Cowboy's stadium, ugh, which is going to make decent affordable tickets hard to find.

We finally started registering at BB&B today. I knew FI wouldn't last too long, and I was right. We made it through dining, bedroom and bathroom before he was done. But those were the only things I really needed his opinion on. I can finish the rest by myself. But we still have two more stores. I wish I could snap my fingers and have our registries done.

I <3 football like WHOA!  I am super excited for the season.  We have season tickets to the Aggies so are down in College Station tailgating it up most weekends.  :)  FI is a C'boys fan and I'm really into college ball so we are really really pumped for the season.

I wish people would consider the responsibilities of pet ownership before undertaking.  I rescued my little Min Pin from the shelter the day before she was going to be put down, and she has just been the best dog!  I don't get the people who say they need to move and can't take an animal or they are too busy for one or whatever.  I am busy too but we make it work.  (I will admit that I got very lucky - my Min Pin turned out to be an excellent barn dog so I take her with me to the barn when I go to ride my horse or give training rides or lessons.)

    I need Blue Bell.  Stat.

And BTW, Mr. Pibb is so not the same thing as Dr. Pepper so please do not ask me if it is an acceptable substitute.
