What are some of your favorite shower games?

Every bridal and baby shower I have been to recently have omitted games, I think the guests appreciate it that way :-)

I don't have a favorite bridal shower game because I can't stand bridal shower gams. I'm always extremely relieved when I attend a bridal shower that doesn't have awkward games that everyone participates in to be polite.

We had games at my shower, but I pleaded with my mom and BP not to do the horrid toilet paper bride. Thankfully they listened and skipped it, but we still did the "newlywed game" where one of my BM's had asked my H questions about us in advance and I had to answer them correctly. They also did the pocketbook game, but that was it. If I could go back again, I'd ask just do no games at all and just let the guests mingle and eat and drink before gifts were opened. The last bridal shower I attended was like this and it was lovely.

At our's we did "What was the bride-to-be wearing" about 30 minutes after guests arrived. It was a quick game that guests had fun playing. Of course, we also did Present BINGO which helps the time go by while I was opening all of our presents.

My favorite shower games are the ones that don't happen.  I don't like feeling forced to participate in things.
