bachelorette party ideas for April, May or June?

Hi Ladies! We are getting married in August! Any ideas for a bachelorette party somewhere warm, with minimal fly time during April, May or June? Miami isn't an option as my friend is having her bachelorette there in April. Goal is beach, relax with some great restaurants & some nightlife. Doesn't need to be crazy club scene. Arizona? Bahamas? A beach house in the keys? Trying to stay cost effective,(as much as poss.!) thx!!

Block Island weather can vary in April, May. Actually all of the Northeast is like that. Block Island is way more expensive after Memorial Day. If you want to keep cost down and live in Jersey, I would plan for June because you can go somewhere much closer and likely have warm weather. Also I'll throw in Newport, RI, Watch Hill, RI...very close to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut if you want beach, gambling and clubs/restaurants as an option.

We are actually getting married in Ct. That's where I grew up ; I really appreciate the suggestion and we originally were thinking Long Beach Island on the Jersey shore. As you may know it's a nice clean beach with lots of options of things to do. Not sure when it will be completely 100up and running. I'm researching away. Fianc wants to possibly get vacation rental in Isla Morada or Marathon for a coed gathering. Ugh. Can't decide! Thx for your ideas help!

One thing to keep in mind with a "destination" bachelorette is the number of people you want to attend. I live in Providence, am getting married at the Golf Course at Foxwoods (45 minutes away) and know that my wedding weekend will turn into a party because of the location. So, when my sister asked me about general ideas for a bachelorette, I told her no casino (wedding will be at one) and also that I wanted to have it in Providence so that as many people who want to join can.( Friends who work second shift, want to take a cab or don't want to spend money/time getting somewhere). She let me know I blew their original plan (a Celtics or Red Sox game followed by a night out in Boston) Great idea, but she understood my thoughts about including friends who might only be able to stop by for dinner or meet us later at a club. Sorry for the long story, just giving an example of how to choose location based on all the details

Jenny I totally know where you're coming from. We are in a difficult situation as 90% of our friends/bridal party are married WITH kids, which makes anything desination....DIFFICULT! We are in our mid 30's and due to layoffs, we had to put our lives on hold & now I feel like we are "paying" for it. to be honest, I'm bummed b/c I'm finding myself changing where I want to go based on others. (ex;my friend does't like ANYONE watching her 2yr old. They all live about an hour from me (i'm 10mins to NYC) but NYC is not "special." I'm rambling. I just pictured sun, beach, restaurants, relax ladies time and I don't know what to do!!! Thank U for your words of advice ;)
