Bachelorette Party Ideas...

Hi everyone! I'm the MOH for my best friend and as her MOH I'm planning the bachelorette party (for 25 women, alone!!!) and am having a hard time coming up with ideas that are within my budget.
I was thinking of a romance theme and giving out gift bags with romance novles (bought used from the library @ 6 for $1!) and some naughty and nice sugar cookies and candies I make and package myself. I've also found a good deal on feather boas for the girls.
My trouble like I said is coming up with ideas for other favors and especially decorations that carry out the classic romance novel like theme and any ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks.

This might just be in my crowd, but I haven't really heard of favors for bach parties.  Usually you're going out and partying, so carrying around a goody bag (and remembering it at the end of the night) might be a problem.  If your plans are to go out and indulge, I would leave the goody bags out of it.

I agree with pp. I don't think that you need to provide more favors for every guest. If you are hosting and providing things like food, I think that your current items are more than enough.

I have a great idea for a gift for the bride...it's a book that I received from my MOH and has since been passed around to my bridesmaids.  The book is a must read for every new couple.  It's called The PMS (Please Make Sense) Guide for Men.  I recently found it on Amazon

Krysty10, I don't think you're just a vendor, but you sound A LOT like you're a bride who is also supposed to promote this book because almost every one of your posts mentions it, even when it's not relevent. Spam/advterising is not allowed on these boards.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! I've only been to 1bachelorette party myself and there were favors but now that I know they aren't expected that definaly takes off some pressure. I would still love any decorating ideas anyone could come up with as well as feedback on the theme....

I think you might need to explain more what bachelorette parties are like in your area.  Is this just going to be at your house?  Because if not, skip the theme.  Skip the decorating.  The theme can be "Let's all get drunk."  I don't even like drinking that much, but most bach parties are going out to clubs so I'm not sure why you'd want to spend money on decorations and a theme.  It's fairly usual to dress the bride up if you're going out to clubs, but I'm not sure why you'd need all the other stuff otherwise.

Are you sure you aren't talking about a bridal shower?  Showers are where there are themes (albeit unneccesary), favors, decorations.  I've never heard of these things for a bach party.

Hi everyone, yes its a house party (due to request of bride) which is why I wanted to do a type of favor for the girls. There will be light food (love the theme idea) and not so light drinks as well as games and "entertainment".
