Communicating Registry Info

Has anyone included their registries on an information card? What wording did you use? If you didn't use a separate card did you just use the inserts provided by the store?

I know this is against etiquette to include this in your invitations but I'd rather people know where we are registered. And I doubt our families/friends would think we are being greedy.

<div>I included a card in with our invitations that said something like, "For more information on hotel accommodations, registry information and more, please visit our website at..."  I know our friends did include an enclosure with their registry information blatantly on it.  I thought the card with a web address for that information was a happy medium, though I have no problem when people include their registry info -- I don't see why it's offensive.  I just used perforated postcards I bought from Staples for $13 for 100 of them.</div>

I did what angelsong did. For me, putting your registry info. with the invite is still a big no no. You can include it with your shower invitations, however.
  • I just put on our invite the wedding website, just like PP did.
  • I like the idea of including the website info since our registries are listed there. FI and I were trying to figure out the best way and this does seem like a happy medium. Thanks you guys! :-)
  • I included ours on the map. We have very formal invitations and an informal map of directions. It made it a little less in your face...at least I think so. My fiance handed out two invitations to guys at his work before I sent them out and they both asked where the registry information was, so I know that others will as well and don't want to just have everyone asking around.
