    Knotties,
Someone please adopt one of these doggies. They are so cute, but it's just a little overwhelming with 6 dogs in my house!
-girl who wishes she could adopt all of the doggies in the shelter!

Piper (aka Momma) a 1.5 year old Cairn terrier mix

Scooter a 10 week old puppy (not really sure what he is!)

    Dear Dreams,
Please get with the program. The rehearsal dinner and the wedding already happened, and were lovely, and we're officially done with all that business (besides the legal paperwork, last payments, and thank-you notes). STOP having dreams that the wedding hasn't actually happened yet, or that the wedding was actually just a rehearsal and now I have to do the REAL wedding, etc.

    Dear Texan,
Those dogs are absolutely adorable. Unfortunately, DH and I aren't ready to be pet-owners yet. But those pictures make me wish, yet again, that we were!

    Dear brain,
Why, oh, why did you insist on getting me all stressed out right before bed?  School is done!  You should be relieved and relaxed!  But, no, you got antsy and started racing, keeping me up later than I wanted to be.  And we really needed that sleep.

Scooter looks exactly like what FI wants. And Piper is just adorable, but one Cairn Terrier in my house is enough. They are horrible apartment dogs. :(

I really need a house. With a yard. A BIG YARD.

Can you email me at jdmichael0618 at yahoo so I can sent the pics to FI. I know he wanted a dog. I'll ask him if he is interested in either of them. Since it's his house it has to be more his decision right now.

    Dear students,

If you're not ready for the AP test now, cramming all week won't help you.  Stop crying that I'm quizzing you the same week.  The day before I took an AP test I had to put my dog to sleep, got sunburned, and got dumped.  AND I had to walk ten miles in the snow, barefoot!

    Deal with it.

My cairn gets bored very easily and since my schnauzer mix is older and won't play with him as much as he used to, that just fuels his fire. He really needs a yard to run because sometimes even a walk won't cut it for him. Piper must have the good gene from the Cairns cause my toby is 100% rotten :)

    Dear coworker,
Showing up from 11:15-4:15 is not acceptable when we are full time exempt employees.  I get that we don't clock in and may not have 8 hours of work to do each day.  But just show up.  You are making the rest of us in this training program look bad.
    Sincerely,

    Dear pre-marital counselors,
Please do not crucify us in class tonight for deciding not to sign the purity covenant.  I know we are church members and it is expected of members to sign it, but really?  Also, I know it is expected of members to not live together (although didn't know this until last week), but we just moved together two weeks ago.  Sorry, but changing that will not happen.
    Love,
A member who enjoys the church but also enjoys her FI

For the past 2 months, it has been a daily occurence.  We are in a leadership rotational training program.  And it's not like she is working from home--our learning happens by shaddowing and sitting with people.  The problem is our actual manager is in HR and is not really accountable for us.  As we rotate departments, we work with a specific manager, but it's not like the micromanage us because we also have side projects we work on.  So there is no one calling her out on it.

It is just frustrating for the 3 others of us who are in the same program manage to get to work at a reasonable time and leave no earlier than 5.  Oh well, when our program is over and we get a permanent department, this won't fly.

I hate when guys do crap like that because they can.

I play catcher, and I had a guy tell me friday  that it was a good thing I "moved out of the way" (it wasn't close so I got off base but I was only on the front corner, I wasn't standing in the center of it or anything). Really? You're going to knock me over just because you can? What a d-bag...

We play in Rowlett. The team we played was full of d-bags, the shortstop in particular. I was at second, nobody at first, and he is telling the 3rd baseman that if the ball comes to him that they were going to trap me in a run-down. Uhhh, genius, since it isn't a force and nobody is on first, I don't have to go ANYWHERE. So how exactly you'll get me in a run-down is beyond me. I'll be staying at 2nd unless the ball is hit to the right side of the field. Why does every guy in a co-ed league think that all the girls are clueless, have no concept of strategy, and that they can just run us over? Ugh. End rant.
